Who is responsible

Jumpiqo publishes this website. For any privacy question or request, email contact@jumpiqo.com.

What we collect

Analytics (Google Analytics through Site Kit)

We use Google Analytics, connected through Google’s Site Kit plugin for WordPress, to understand which pages are read and how visitors find them. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, the page that referred you, your approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), your device, browser and screen size, and how long you stay. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. We use this data only in aggregate to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you, we do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

We have set Google Analytics to keep event-level data for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Aggregated reports may be kept longer.

Site statistics

Our publishing software also records basic visit statistics on our own server, such as which page was viewed and when, so we can see which guides are useful.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, time and page requested) to run the site and protect it against abuse. These logs are kept for a limited period set by the host.

Email and comments

If you email us, we keep your message and email address for as long as needed to answer you and handle any follow-up. If you leave a comment, WordPress stores your name, email address, any website you enter, the comment and your IP address, and may set cookies so you do not have to type your details again.

Cookies

  • _ga and _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): tell visits apart and keep a session together. They last up to 2 years.
  • comment_author_* (WordPress): remember your name and email after you comment. They last about a year and are only set if you comment.
  • wordpress_* and wp-settings-* (WordPress): only set for logged-in site administrators.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. Where the law requires your consent for analytics cookies, we ask for it before setting them.

Why we process data

We process this data to run and secure the website, to understand how it is used so we can improve it, and to answer your messages. We rely on our legitimate interest in doing so, and on your consent where the law requires it.

Who receives data

  • Google, which provides Google Analytics and may process data in the United States and other countries.
  • Our hosting provider, Hostinger, which stores the website and its logs.

We do not sell or rent personal data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its processing, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, email contact@jumpiqo.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is written for business owners and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
